Bobert

What’s Shipped

Built in the Open

Bobert is early.
Here’s exactly what’s changed.

We’d rather show you the work than tell you about it. Dated, specific, and including the things we broke and fixed. If it affected you as a user, it’s here.

July 2026
Ship Landing page: thesis section (“Why Bobert Exists”), FI/PI platform cards, “Built in the Open” changelog preview, hero updated to platform language.
Ship Added persistent “Park first” safety banner to /capture — always visible, positioned below the header. First of six planned safe-use placements.
Ship Rewrote /upgrade. Stripe checkout removed for closed beta — no “Credit card required,” no trial clock. Pricing published as a preview ($59 / $119 / $349 / $1,500) with unbuilt features tagged Planned.
Change “Who It’s For” updated to 4 construction verticals: Lighting & Electrical, Contractors & Subs, Manufacturers’ Reps, Suppliers & Distributors. Real Estate and Landscaping removed — outside the beachhead (Decision 021).
Fix manifest.json regression — maskable icon now points at adaptive-icon.png (safe-zone geometry), sizes corrected to 1024×1024, background_color updated to #1A1A1A.
Fix Added favicon and apple-touch-icon links to capture, leads, account, intake, success, and upgrade — browser tab showed no icon on those pages.
Ship “Open Bobert” link added to landing page nav — beta members no longer need to type /capture from memory.
Ship 7th feature card “Project Intel” added to landing page. Renamed “Leads Dashboard” → “Your List” to match the in-app label.
Change PWA manifest: purpose fields added (any / maskable). Stats row simplified from 4 figures to 3 — removed vanity metrics.
Ship AI intel card — /capture now returns project, company, and contact intel from a single photo. Apollo contact enrichment live.
Fix GPS auto-tagging: location written at save time (not capture time) so it survives app switching. Follow-up dates now persist across reloads (IndexedDB fix).
